Green Chocolate Milkshake
So you may be wondering why my chocolate milkshake is green. It's really packed full of spinach – FAR more than I could ever eat if they were in leaf form! And yet, to me, this tastes like a chocolate milkshake... the spinach is just a bonus! I learned a few years ago that spinach has the capacity to completely blend into nothing (and doesn't really leave a taste!) and implement this regularly. Especially when I was pregnant in a hot Brisbane summer, this "treat" milkshake amps up my veggie intake. I choose to use xylitol as it is the sweetener that I tolerate best and it doesn't affect my blood sugar levels, sending me on an up and down blood sugar rollercoaster! - Bec
