Chilli Powder Blend
Here is a chilli powder blend that you can adjust to your preferred level of heat. It makes a great addition to dishes that you want to add a little extra heat to.

Makes approx. 1/2 cup
Can be multiplied several times. Fill the bowl only to halfway for best results.

You will need:
- chilli powder - 2 Tbsp, mild, or hot if preferred to suit your tastes
- paprika - 1 Tbsp, sweet
- cayenne pepper - 1 tsp
- chilli - 1, dried, mild
- dried onion flakes - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1 Tbsp, rock
- Add the mild chilli powder (2 Tbsp), sweet paprika (1 Tbsp), cayenne pepper (1 tsp), dried mild chilli (1), dried onion flakes (2 Tbsp) and rock salt (1 Tbsp) to the bowl. Program 1 minute / Speed 10.
- Place into an airtight jar and store for up to 6 months.
Note: Do not freeze this spice blend if it will be used regularly, as the continuous opening of the container can lead to loss of flavour, freezer burn and condensation buildup. Freeze until needed, then store in an airtight jar to use regularly if desired.
