Baked Custard
After a successful meal, there is nothing better than an amazing dessert to round off the evening. These little baked custards are a great for the whole family. You can prepare them ahead of time and leave them unbaked in the fridge for up to two days.

Ingredients
- milk - 500g
- egg yolk - 3
- sugar - 50g
- salt - pinch
- cornflour - 40g
- vanilla pod - 1, seeds only (or 1 tsp vanilla bean paste)
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180C.
- Add the milk (500g), egg yolks (3), sugar (50g), salt (pinch), cornstarch (40g) and vanilla seeds (from 1 bean). Program 8 minutes / 90C / Reverse+Speed 3.
- Fill 4-6 small ramekins with the mixture and bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes until golden brown. If you find that the top is browning too quickly, cover with aluminium foil and continue baking. Serve immediately.
